Green Schools

We are very proud to have four Green Schools flags in Scoil Bhríde. We have been awarded these flags for our environmental awareness in the following areas:

Litter and waste
Energy
Water
Travel

Before we embark on our next journey for our fifth Green Flag ( for Bio-diversity) we are pausing to reflect on and review our current green practices. We do not want our excellent standards to slip! So for the school year 2018/19, we are focusing our attention on the four areas listed above.

That means we must remember to recycle our waste correctly, turn off lights and other electrical appliances when we are not using them, make sure not let the water run unnecessarily and try our best to travel to school in a green way! If we all do our part, we can help protect our planet for future generations.
