Christmas Greetings from the Principal

To all Parents, Guardians and children of Scoil Bhríde,

As we reach the Christmas Holidays, I would like to extend my thanks to you all for your co-operation so far this school year and to thank you for helping make the weeks leading up to Christmas such memorable ones for the pupils of Scoil Bhríde.

I would like to thank, in particular, the Parents’ Association who have really out-done themselves this year. They raised a considerable amount of money for us through the raffles and the sale of calendars. We will use these funds to upgrade facilities in our hall and classrooms. The PA also created a beautiful “Santa’s Grotto” in our hall to welcome Santa on Tuesday and of course they were his little helpers!

Thanks to the class teachers who produced lovely plays for their classes and to the SNAs and support teachers who helped them out. Boys and girls, you were marvellous!

I would like to wish you all the best for a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. I will see you all back in Scoil Bhríde on Monday January 7th.
