The children enjoyed a range of activities this week including their Sports day, Sponsored walk, Zumba, Athletics, Ultimate Frisbee and Skipping, as well as a trip to the playground.
Thanks to the excellent efforts of Ms. Keegan, Mr. O’Shaughnessy and the Active Committee, as well as the co-operation of the whole school, we have achieved our new Active Flag this year. A big congratulations to all and stay active!

The girls of 2nd Class had a great time doing indoor camogie. There was a great mix of girls- some who are playing with their club, and others who had never played camogie before. Definitely some camogie stars of the future in the group!
Last term we enjoyed Dance with Debbie and even learned a dance routine to Green Green Grass by George Ezra!
The boys and girls in Room 14 had a great time during their week in the Active Zone. They were using skipping ropes and hoola-hoops, two great ways of keeping active while having fun. They can’t wait to get back to the Active Zone again!
