ANNUAL ADMISSION NOTICE
in respect of admissions to the 2025/2026 school year
Admission Policy and Application Form

The Pre enrolment form for the school year 2025/2026 will be available from 7/10/2025 as follows: –

PART 1 – Admissions to the 2025/2026 school year
Application and Decision Dates for admission to Scoil Bhríde for September 2025
The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants
| The school will commence accepting applications for admission on

Monday 7th October 2024 |
| The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on | Monday 31st January 2025 |
| The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is. | Friday 7th February 2025 |
| The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 10 days |
*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn
Note: applications made after 29th January 2025 will be processed as late applications. The school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
Special Class Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2024/2025 School Year
The following are the dates applicable for admission to the school’s Special Classes which cater for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
| The school will commence accepting applications for admission to the special class on | Monday 7th October 2024 |
| The school shall cease accepting applications for admission to the special class on | Friday 7th March 2025 |
| The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application for admission to the special class is | Friday 14th March
2025 |
| The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 10 days |

Number of places being made available in 2024/2025 school year

| The number of places being made available in the special classes catering for children with Autism is | 1 |
*This number may be amended at the discretion of the Board of Management of Scoil Bhríde JNS where required.
