Active School

We were awarded our first Active School Flag in the summer of 2017. We received this award thanks to the hard work of the teachers, the pupils and their mams and dads! Ms. Keegan, Mr. O’Shaughnessy and the Active School Committee help to ensure that we are an active bunch in Scoil Bhríde! Along with our regular PE lessons we have GAA, yoga and dance classes. On rainy days, when we do not get to run around in the yard, we make sure to have a Busy Break in the classroom. Our school promotes active after school activities too, such as hurling and camogie.
