A Note from Ms. Dillon
To all Parents, Guardians, Pupils of Scoil Bhríde and Prospective Parents,
This will be my final note on the Scoil Bhríde website. As most of you are aware, I am retiring at the end of August. I have already thanked staff, parents and children, but I would again like to reiterate how grateful I am for the loyalty and support I have received from the community of Donaghmede since I came here in 2007. The welcome I was given and the interest that was shown by parents in their children’s education and wellbeing was an inspiration to me.
I would also like to thank those of you who sent best wishes to me, by word, email card or gift. All your thoughts and wishes are very much appreciated.
We have a highly motivated staff, whose dedication is obvious to all those who visit our school. So, it is of particular delight to me that one of those motivated teachers was chosen to become the next principal of Scoil Bhríde. Ms. Marianne Craig has worked here for ten years, and has been an Assistant Principal for the last four. I know she will bring tremendous energy and a passion for education to the role and I wish her well.
Please have a happy and safe summer.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
Áine Dillon July 2021
